If you don’t have a Nostr /address NIP-05 identifier, you can get one from NostrPlebs.com.
How you set up your Nostr address / NIP-05 depends on your client.
Damus
For Damus, you need to:

Go to your profile

Click edit

Scroll down

Set your Nostr address / NIP-05 identifier to “name@domain”, where name is the name you bought and the domain is the domain you picked.

Click save.
If you can’t do this, you need to update your TestFlight version. Damus currently does not show NIP-05 identifiers.
Snort
For Snort, you need to:

Go to your profile

Click settings
-
Click profile
-
Set your Nostr address / NIP-05 identifier to “name@domain“, where name is the name you bought and the domain is the domain you picked.

Click save.
Astral
-
Go to settings
-
Click the edit button next to the profile option.

Set your Nostr address / NIP-05 identifier to “name@domain“, where name is the name you bought and the domain is the domain you picked.

Click save.
If you get a cannot verify error, this means you are not using the right identifier or you used the wrong public key.
Nos2x/Alby
If you use Nos2x or Alby for signing, you can use metadata.nostr.com for setting your identifier.
Other clients
You can most likely find the option for setting an identifier in your client’s profile editor.
